Ramin Sabi


Ramin is a second year undergraduate studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Balliol College. In his time at Oxford he has written and directed his college’s Cuppers entry Norma (BT, MT’10), The Tea Party (Michael Pilch Studio, HT’11) and a new adaptation of Aeschylus’ The Oresteia (O’Reilly, TT’11), which he also acted in. He also wrote an entry for the 2011 OUDS 24 Hour Plays. At school he directed a large production of William Golding’s Lord of the Flies and several short plays as well as acting in major roles in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Guys and Dolls, His Dark Materials, and Macbeth. This term he is producing 'Children of Oedipus' at the O’Reilly Theatre, assistant producing 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' at the Oxford Playhouse and producing a piece of new writing, 'The Two Cultures' at the Michael Pilch Studio
