“An unnerving psychological thriller reimagining Bram Stoker's classic horror.”

Reverend Productions

A chilling re-imagining of Bram Stoker’s classic horror.

Johnny has returned to London after four years abroad. But his journey has changed him in ways his sister Alex cannot understand. Erratic and paranoid, Johnny met someone on his travels – someone he claims has followed him back to London.

Alex’s best friend Lucy wants to help. So does her psychologist husband, Jack. But when Alex brings the four of them together, events begin to spiral out of control.

Johnny’s fascination with Lucy becomes an obsession, and Jack can’t seem to diagnose the cause of his disturbing behaviour. Then Lucy disappears, and their world descends into chaos.

Uniting to defend the lives they once led, they are confronted by violent changes in one another and the overwhelming sense that the cause is beyond reason or understanding. Encounter evil in this unnerving psychological thriller.

This is the eleventh play by Reverend Productions, an Oxford-based company which produces new plays through improvisation and collaborative writing. The company’s most recent project, ‘In the Kingdom of the Blind,’ was acclaimed as “an uncomfortably believable experience… brutally real and viscerally engaging.” (BroadwayBaby, Edinburgh Fringe 2013).

Come and see Dracula as you have never seen it before.
