SUMMARY

Cyrano wields words as expertly as he does swords - an inspiration to the mischievous military company of the Gascony Cadets. His problem? An ugly protuberance - his nose. Unable to win the affection of the beautiful Roxanne, he will become the eloquent mouthpiece to the handsome but witless boy, Christian, for whom Roxanne has fallen. And so the hilarious, and yet tragic, love triangle commences...

Translated and adapted by Anthony Burgess (of 'Clockwork Orange' fame) 'Cyrano De Bergerac' is a brilliant heroic-romantic comedy, famous for introducing the word 'panache' into the English language.
