Milk and Two Sugars

SUMMARY

Mathematics, literature, romance. A secret. And a tortoise.

1809. Desire, passion, and literary rivalry seize the inhabitants of Sidley Park. Meanwhile thirteen year-old Thomasina Coverly is making a scientific discovery that will change the way people understand the world. 1993. Rivalry once again seizes the inhabitants of Sidley Park, as academics Bernard and Hannah unpick the illicit secrets of the estate, all under the derisive eye of the current occupant, a young mathematician.

First performed at the National Theatre, Arcadia is an Olivier Award winning masterpiece by Tom Stoppard. This twentieth anniversary Oxford Student Company production showcases the dazzling wit and emotional exuberance that have made Arcadia a modern classic.
