Come away, O human child!

To the waters and the wild

With a faery, hand in hand.

For the world's more full of weeping than you can understand.

Four lovers wander into a dark wood. An idealistic knight searches for the woman of his dreams. A newly-married bride dreams of a more thrilling life. A child vanishes in the night. Soon, they are all trapped within the fairy realm: a place where anything can happen, and few make it out alive...

Fusing the writings of Shakespeare, Yeats, Rossetti, and Keats with haunting English folk music and devised physical theatre, O HUMAN CHILD is a piece of innovative "new editing" - classic texts as you've never seen them before.

Inspired by the theatre of Punch Drunk, O Human Child is a promenade piece involving some measure of audience interaction. Seating will be available, however.

Adapted and directed by Tara Isabella Burton. Produced by Kit Rees. Designed and Production Managed by Diana Sofronieva. Marketed by Risham Nadeem. With choreography and the assistance of Kezia St Clere Smithe and Rebecca Neale.

Admission: £7(£5)
