SUMMARY

Lars Sorken, a Norwegian professor of theatre, becomes embroiled in a series of dark mysteries. As a Theatre Detective, each movement and gesture is significant and tells Lars more about the motives of those around him than conventional clues. Assisted by the arrogant Leyna Swartz, journalist and part-time sleuth, Lars and his colleague Sofie Heller find themselves digging through old cases and unravelling an international network of art thieves, prostitution rackets, fraudulent academics and corrupt diplomats. But the greatest mystery of all rests in Lars' strange method the 'Science of Stage-Signals': his Semioticon.
