“When one hundred and thirty teenagers disappear overnight, why do the tales of the four who remain differ so wildly?”

Exeter College Cuppers

SUMMARY

A village in a war-ravaged country wakes to find the one hundred and thirty teenagers have vanished. Only four are left: Otto, Aloysius, Sarah and Flora. Interviewed by a Military Inquiry, each child tells the events of the night before. But their accounts seem to differ. Who is the elusive Sebastian? What's real and what's fairy tale? Frank & Ferdinand is a satirical mystery about the suppression of truth, the making of myths, and how see what we want to see rather than what's there.
