SUMMARY

A woman tries to force her way into a Nazi courtroom. An old man weeps before a microphone. A bishop shouts at the Foreign Secretary. There is a commotion in Wadham College. And a man with three fingers puts a bomb at Hitler's feet.

The one man who drew all these disparate events together was Adam von Trott, Rhodes scholar and leader in the July Plot to assassinate Hitler. This startling new play by Bernard Adams explores the often untold      ramifications that great historical events have on everyday human relationships. Oxford University's acting talent meets professional involvement, with voiceovers from Andrew Sachs and sound design from the Royal Court, in a production that breaks down the barriers between history and drama.
